I personally believe that in Slovenia, we are pretty lucky because bullying is quite rare these days. I don’t know why, but it’s probably that due to anti - bullying campaigns, we have changed something. I have been to two high schools and would say that there is a visible difference in the quantity of bullying. The main reason for bullying is that people are childish and think it’s cool. The older you get, the less you will be bullied or be a bully. I went to Želimlje high school, where we spent the whole week together, we were living, eating together, and socialising, so we really knew each other. We were like brothers, and naturally, there was some teasing. Unintentionally, we went too far sometimes, and some people could call it bullying at that point. But I can’t remember a case in which it wouldn’t all stop in a week or two, and we were back on old tracks. After that, we always had a good laugh and forgave each other. In general, I believe that bystanders play the most important role, unless the bully really hates a person. They are the ones who can either stop it or make it even worse if they find it funny. Bullying gets into our heads and helps us grow up. Miha, 3a   haiku  haiku  haiku  haiku  
