My thoughts on fashion I like fashion because it’s a form of expression. It makes you feel good when you are dressed nicely. It also tells us something about a person. For example, when you see someone put together, you instantly know that they take time for themselves, even if you don’t really like their outfit. “Fashion is a form of art, architecture and beauty all in one” are the famous words from a Gossip Girl TV series character, Blair Waldorf. She was the fashion icon, and I could not agree more. You literally present all of the above with your style. There are so many different styles and clothes you can choose from, and of course, not everybody will like you and might even judge you for it. However, ignore that and wear what feels right to you. There are many TV series and films about fashion, and I like them very much. For example, The Devil Wears Prada, Emily in Paris. However, in all these films, you only see designers’ clothes, which I believe should be changed. Although I support high - quality brands, their quality is starting to decline. Their only goal is to have more buyers, not to produce good - quality clothes. Therefore, it is sometimes better to buy a non - designer item. Just be careful that it is still good material which does not involve child labour. We should not support it. Respect fashion and refrain from purchasing products on Temu or Shein just because they’re cheap. Looking long term, it’s cheaper to buy good - quality clothes and wear them for years than to buy a shirt on Temu or Shein and throw it away after one wash.
