Music Music is wonderful because artists and listeners can explore or express their feelings and emotions through it. When someone shares their thoughts and feelings, the song becomes relatable to others who think the same. For many young people, music is an escape from life’s stress and hardships, and it can motivate them to create something of their own. Music is so diverse that anyone, anywhere, can share something in their own language and culture, attracting many new listeners even if they don’t understand what the artist is saying. I enjoy French and Dutch rap. I mainly listen to rap, though I try to explore other genres as well. My favourite artist is probably Jaydes. I think his approach to music is unique and original. His song Rose is one I could probably listen to on repeat without getting tired of it. I believe the mood or a situation you’re in can influence what you want to listen to. Nowadays, social media and trends can make artists or songs become popular quickly; they can dictate what people think is good or bad. Artists who are not well - known commercially are also great. Having a smaller audience that really appreciates your work and performs at an underground venue can be more fun than at a larger one, as you can be more connected. When artists become very well known or get bought by big labels, their music becomes more watered down and just a corporate tool to bring more money in.  3a
