Aškerčevi asi 2026

My sports career When I was younger, my wish was to be good at dancing. In kindergarten, I joined a hip - hop class, and I really liked it. When I was in primary school, I started dancing jazz ballet and hip hop. Later, in 5 th grade, I wanted to become a ballerina, but my mum wouldn’t let me because of broken toes. I’m so happy she did that. I never liked martial arts or combat sports because I thought they were only for boys. However, my mum and brother believed otherwise, so they both started training in karate. Mum saw karate as a sport with great potential and signed me up. I felt sad and angry because it was the exact opposite of what I had wanted. When my mum saw how my brother was getting fit and doing better at school, she wanted the same for me. The first few months were dreadful; I always cried and argued when it was time to go to training. However, because I was talented at every sport, I didn’t have trouble catching up with others, so my coach was pleased with me. I saw how he appreciated my performance, and gradually I started to like karate. I was, and still am, competitive, which is why I always wanted to win, and that motivated me to train hard. This is why I became inseparable from karate. I love it so much. Last year, I achieved my goal of becoming a European champion. I was so happy and proud of my hard work. My next aim is to be the World champion in 2026. I also enjoy helping my coach train younger children, which is a great pleasure. Gaja, 3a
