6. Ljubljana is a compact and manageable city When visitors arrive in the city, they can simply relax. All the main city sights are accessible on foot. Transfers are not needed, because most of the hotels are situated in the city centre or close to it, within walking distance. The city centre, closed to motor traffic, flows into a picturesque historical core, which seems like a comfortable living room along the river embankments. 7. Ljubljana is a safe city with a high quality of life The results of the European statistical office Eurostat survey regarding the satisfaction with the quality of life in European cities (for 2017) showed that as many as 92% of the residents of Ljubljana are satisfied with the quality of life in Ljubljana.
